Doing Home Goods then Savannah...

We had a roaring good tyme in Savannah down by the river.

This was the view as we were drinking a glass of Prosecco...a 10 million dollar toy Yacht...named the Sea Owl. It is a motor yacht built by the Burger Design Team. It was customer designed for an experienced American yachting family. It is 142 feet long and has a Tri-Deck. She completed her sea trial July 2010. She was voted best Motoryacht of the Year by Showboats magazine. She was originally custom built as " Lady Linda ".  She sleeps 8 to 10 AND has room for her crew of 8. One of a kind...

Love the sparkling stainless steel thingie on the bow...by the way...it is for sale for only 9.7 million and more complete info is available at http://www.superyachts.com/

Oyster Shell Light fixture at Roof on the Rocks. Nice place for a glass of wine and checking out the river below. Later we slipped downstairs and had lunch at River on the Rocks.

Yep it is a wooden Kayak on the ceiling...seems a waste of a great Kayak...but interesting.

Lunch at River on the Rocks on River Street in Savannah, Ga.

On the water front in Savannah...
Cute little poochie waiting for his owner...note the matching toy dog.

Savannah City Hall complete with 23-karat gold leaf roof...very beautiful with the sun glinting off of it...we always look for it coming in and leaving Savannah.
Great view of the harbor area and the beautiful Savannah Bridge...

All this and we spent a good long while this morning on the way in to Savannah at Home Goods...a favorite Savannah store. Found a few must have items for the cottage...more on that tomorrow...
