We are having Tybee withdrawal pains since we have only spent two days at Paws and Paddles this year. We are planning on a full week in April and looking forward to enjoying some of those warm sunny days on the back sun porch. Thinking about all those fat Georgia shrimp and oysters from Bowie's seafood shop across the street and hoping the Jitterbug Cafe gets open while we are there...a veggie restaurant, bakery and coffee shop right across the way...perfect for us!
Looking forward to some time on the beach!
And lots and lots of biking on the beach and around the island...love to bike over to watch the sunrise at the lighthouse and swing on the old fashioned wooden beach swings that dot the beach. We only use the car when we venture into beautiful Savannah which is only 15 to 20 minutes away. The rest of the time we bike or walk everywhere on the island. Paws and Paddles is located on the quiet north end of the island and is convenient to everything we enjoy including a nature trail nearby that goes back into the marsh.
We enjoy all the birds and wildlife that we see on Tybee...this is a marsh view off of the bike path near the campground.
Looking forward to going night night in the big king size bed at Paws and Paddles...soon!
